Product Review: Netflix

Netflix came to my family under the guise of a wrapped diminutive Christmas box over a year ago and it has turned out to be one of the most advantageous gifts we could have received. I don’t know about you, but I have a difficult time getting out of the house. Even before we had our son, we didn’t exactly frequent the movies, but now that feat would be next to impossible. Enter, my sister, who delivered a perfect solution to the movie fiends that we are, when given the opportunity.

Product Review: Scrapbrats Scrapbooking Layout Recipes

I really enjoy scrapbooking. I think it is a new hobby, that creates a great memento for myself, or a perfect present for someone else. I started scrapbooking when I was stuck housebound, due to a recent hospital visit. As excited as I am to work on most projects, there are days when I am just exhausted, and I don't even know where to start. I found this great product called "Layout Recipes," which are from Scrapbrats.com.

Product Review: Great Scrapbooking Magazines to Check Out!

I found a few scrapbooking/ crafting magazines that are definitely worth signing up for, if you are interested in these types of hobbies. It was so exciting to get these in the mail and look for new projects, ideas and lessons. I find scrapbooking and paper crafts a great hobby for those with limited energy, due to illness. They are great projects to start and then come back to later, and also many of the project supplies can be inexpensive and make great gifts!

Product Review: Hot Off The Press Card Making Supplies

I have been stuck in the house with nothing to do while my body recuperates from being in the hospital. Friends had suggested I take up a hobby or a craft to pass the time and to feel a sense of accomplishment. I was not really in the mood to do anything "cheery," so when I first thought of scrapbooking or card making, I didn't think it "fit". Why would I want to document my life right now if I just left the hospital and still felt sick?
