Product Review: Shaklee Cinch Bars

I was looking for a healthy snack bar to take with me when I am traveling or waiting in doctor's offices and can't get a meal. I wanted it to taste good too. This apparently is a hard request, a healthy bar that tastes good! I was bored with granola bars. The Shaklee Cinch Bars come in three flavors; Peanut Butter, Chocolate Decadence and Lemon Cranberry. I love them all but the chocolate flavor is my favorite. I felt like I was having a yummy chocolate candy bar.

Healthy Snack Review: Crunch Dried Snacks from Sensible Foods

It is Healthy Snack and Food Month at ButYouDontLookSick.com!

I've made a promise to myself that I would start eating healthier. I feel that the choices we make, with what enters our bodies, is definitely one thing we can do to help us feel better. It feels great to make positive choices. When you are like me and you have a chronic illness, it is so important to eat well. I think many times the reason we do not eat as well as we should is because we are just too tired to cook, or too tired to shop for the healthier choices. I found a great tasting crunchy, sweet snack that I am now officially addicted to. I didn't think it would be possible to be addicted to something healthy, but I am!

Product Review: ZEVIA® carbonated stevia supplement is THE NATURAL ALTERNATIVE TO DIET SODA®

I am admittedly a diet soda junkie. I drink a few glasses a day and although I know it is not the best thing for me to drink, I enjoy it and miss it when I do not have a diet soda. I do not want the calories of regular soda, so what were my options? When I heard about Zevia I was anxious to try it.

As a person with an AI Disease I have to be careful with my diet. Before I got really sick I never thought about what I ate, but now I look for healthier options, not only for me but for my husband. I want to keep him healthy, so he doesn't have to go through this kind of pain.

Product Review: Healthy Choices with Luna and Clif brand Nutrition Bars

We are focusing on healthy foods and snacks for the month of May!

I am a picky eater at times, and I am always on the go. Eating healthy is hard but Luna Bars and Clif bars have made it easier. Now I have no excuses not to take better care of myself. I have tried numerous nutrition bars, meal replacement bars and granola snack bars, and I found them either not satisfying, not appetizing or they left a bad after-taste in my mouth. I have tried various flavors of both the Luna bar and the Clif bar and I was pleasantly surprised at how good they all taste.

Healthy Snacks: Vitalicious Muffin Tops and Brownies

I had heard about these Vitalicious snacks from Weight Watchers and a few TV shows like the Rosie O'Donnell show. I thought of them as diet foods and not just healthy good tasting choices. Before I tell you about these healthy snacks from Vitalicious, I need to take a moment to express how I used to feel about healthy snacks. I thought that for something to be healthy, it couldn't possibly taste good. I used to think that if a food was labeled "diet" or good for you, it had to have a gross, yucky after taste that made you never want to eat it again. Vitalicious seriously changed my mind about healthy snacks. I am now a convert!

Product Review: Odwalla Nourishing Food Bar

When I go grocery shopping my favorite aisles are the natural foods section, because I love to find new foods I don't feel badly about eating, or bad after eating, as the case may be. I also look for new products that hide veggies from my finicky three year-old baby boy. Hey! They say if he won't go to the veggie, bring the veggie to him! Well, I say that too!

Product Review: Dr. Oetker Organic Frosted Brownie Mix

This is a brand new product in the natural food section of your favorite grocery store. A brand you have seen over the years, Dr. Oetker, has come out with a new line of organic mixes and one of them is a fabulous frosted brownie mix!

I thought I'd try it and make some for my toddler son. Today, however, I am way off my game. I am in total fog-brain land! Think I'm joking? I set the oven to the wrong temperature. I frosted them too soon. I didn't have the butter properly softened. I left them in too long! And you know what? They still came out PERFECT!!!
