Poem: Rainbow of HopeA poem submitted by one of our readers. Poetry: If you could live in my bodyA Poem submitted by one of our ButYouDontLookSick.com members. Personal Essay: Snowflakes. The cold makes me hurt, brings illness to my cramped indoors and makes me dress my son up like an Eskimo and then rush to get him undressed when he has to pee after the hour long dressing process and before we get out the door. Snowflakes, I should only find them a dreary misery. However, I love the crisp whiteness of snow so much, I am planning a wedding so I will have them about. I am planning the entire celebration around the theme of snowflakes. Poetry: I Stand Here NakedA poem submitted by one of our readers. Poetry: Borrowed TimePoetry: D’MedicareI am a former nurse. In my "past life" I worked in clinics, hospitals, nursing homes and even at an insurance company. Nowdays I am sitting home, not much to do except, on days when I have my wits, write. Here is my opinion of Medicare Part D. Poetry: Ode to a Single MotherPoetry: PainThis poem is much darker poem than my usual style. It was written as a sort of poetic exorcism of the feelings of frustration, helplessness and sometimes utter hopelessness that have accompanied the battle I've been fighting with chronic back pain for the past several years. But You Don't Look Sick PoemThis poem was submited by one of our readers/ message board members about our site. I know you will love it as much as we did.
