 Swimming and subluxations
Anybody have problems with subluxations when swimming in a warm pool?

Swimming is sone of the few exercises I can do, but I still dislocate if I'm not careful.
It's still exercise, and it's putting resistance on your movements...so you can definately dislocate/sublux while your swimming.
However, swimming is great for building strength, so if you swim often, it should get better! When I was living close enough to my college to go swimming almost every day, I felt better even out of the water. You just have to be careful...there's nothing worse than trying to put a knee back in place in deep water!
Also, I noticed that if I spent a long time in the pool, my joints got looser. I think maybe I was relaxing, and they just sorta fell out of place. Maybe you could start with less time in the pool, and work up to longer periods of time?
Well I dont know if any of that helps, but i hope so! Have a good one!

Mhmm i agree with the take it slow part...
and stay in the shallow end...or get floaties
i'm going to try it too...my usual warning is to be careful about temps as far as POTS goes...ever since that hot tub...
