Post Looking for a Primary Care Physician in Boston
Hi everyone,

I know this may be a long shot, but is there anyone here who lives in (or has lived in) the Boston area? I have been going to doctors at Harvard Vanguard (Somerville) and I have been having okay but not great experiences there. I am thinking of finding a primary care doctor in another network, like maybe Tufts New England Medical Center. If anyone has any experiences they could share, especially recommendations (or anti-recommendations!) regarding primary care doctors (or Tufts NEMC or other networks in general) I would really appreciate it.

I have had strange swelling in my feet and ankles for two months now and after testing my heart and kidney function, my primary care doctor doesn't seem very interested in finding out what's wrong with me. I've also had a lot of problems with getting referrals and having no one ever call me back to schedule an appointment, appointments getting lost, prescriptions getting lost, etc.

Thank you :)

I've never even been to Boston, but there may be a few people here who can help you. :)

I wish you all the best finding a good doctor and a proper diagnosis.
