Crazy amount of pain from trigger points?
Okay, I'm always kinda sore to the touch near my sacrum on both sides and near my shoulder blades, but usually there has to be a good bit of pressure before I start yelling uncle.
Yesterday the points near my shoulders started up. It was bad, but my OT person said at one point that getting a tennis ball and lying on it (holding it on that spot) would make it more painful for a little bit but then help. I've done it before and it helped some but yesterday it didn't do a thing except bring me to tears. I had it under my left shoulder and at one point I moved it to the right a little bit and found an even more sore spot! It's right on my spine between my shoulders. Now they're both terible!
I couldn't even sleep last night because leaning on my pillow was to painful (you know it's bad when...). So yeah, I made it through classes today but couldn't put my bag on my left shoulder because it would touch one of those spots. I went to PT and the lady I worked with it's the person I usually see so she didn't want to mess with it until the regular lady sees me... which won't be till Friday!!
I can't lean back on anything and I can't really sleep.
Anyone experienced this or know a trick to make it chill a little? At least enough to make it till Friday?

Re: Crazy amount of pain from trigger points?
how are you doing?
I use Tiger Balm (I don't have much skin problems), ice, etc to make it to my next trigger point injection appt.
