Assessment shows that I'm an utter mess...
I went to the brace clinic today... NOTHING...I mean NONE of the braces I own properly fit me...whether they were OTC or Rxed...NONE of them. Also...they aren't supportive enough. Once again NONE of them. The physiatrist actually told me my right knee would need surgery if it were even possible for me to HAVE surgery. I have to go back next Monday for my knees/ankles...then I head off to the OT for fingers/hands/wrists. Congrats Stephanie...you are now an official Medical Basketcase Snarflepuss.

Linda...what do you mean GROW????? I haven't grown in EIGHT years!
Eri...I should have my ankles next week and probably me knees too...and I have no clue when OT's going to call me.
Now I'm just hoping all this crap is covered...my old insurance didn't cover anything and it was over $700 for my joint parts that don't even work right *le sigh*

That stinks, I can't get any pre-made braces to fit me either. Even my silver ring splints don't really fit that well. Oh well maybe we are just cool and anomalous.
