Product Review: Goody™ So Gelous™ Detangling Comb

For most of my life, I have had long blonde hair of which I am very proud. However, arthritis and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome can make personal grooming difficult. One morning, after a shower, I was detangling my hair with a thin-handled comb, which snapped right in half when I encountered a knot.

I needed a new comb, but finding combs that accommodate my aching and often dislocated fingers is nearly impossible. I browsed the grocery store’s hair care aisle, hunting for a wide handled detangling comb, when my eyes came upon the So Gelous ™ comb from Goody™ and I fell in love. Not only was the handle wide, it was covered in a thick layer of Plasmium Gel™ that molded perfectly to my hand. This comb is available in three metallic colors: silver, green, and light blue.

I have had the comb for about two weeks now, and it is still holding strong against the tangles. My hands do not hurt nearly as much as they did when using my old comb, but the best part is…no dislocations!

I would highly recommend this comb for anyone that has a condition that affects the joints of the hand. It is the most comfortable and easy to use comb I have ever owned, and is a lot cheaper than a comb from a beauty supply store. Happy hands rejoice!
