These pieces are so unique, you will never find anything like them in stores. They will make a great presentation at your dessert table this holiday. They would also make a great housewarming gift, or thank you gift for the hostess. The handle and base of this server is very sturdy, although the beading on top made me nervous. This is something I would not use all the time, but for special occasions.
