Product Review: Sugar Please Automatic Sugar Dispenser

Whoever thought of this great new gadget must have been sitting next to me at the diner, whenever I angrily rip open one of those sugar packets. Either I tear it and sugar flies everywhere, or I can't get the darn things open at
all.

Even worse than those packets, are those huge glass jars with the opening that you have no control over. After sugar spills all over the table, I lose patience.

I may be bad with my hands due to my illness, but there is no need for my messy sugar experiences to put my poor hand skills out there for the rest of the world to see.

Along comes "Sugar Please". This great new gadget from prodyne.com dispenses a perfect 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, which approximates to one of those typical paper packets of sugar, with the simple push of a button. It is so easy! I also love that now, as I am starting to become more health conscious I can really keep track of my sugar intake, especially when having it in my coffee, tea or cereal.

It says on the box, that this item can also be used with powdered creamers, for you coffee drinkers.

The "Sugar Please" dispenser is made of clear acrylic, with brushed chrome accents. A handy re-fill funnel is included and conveniently stores in the base. The friction fit bottom cover keeps tables and counter tops free from
spills and it measures 7 ½” high. I can see using this product in my own kitchen for many uses, from my daily morning cup of tea to baking projects. It is so much easier to use then trying to measure out sugar for baking cakes and cookies. It would go nicely in any kitchen and would make a great gift for those with hand weakness or for any gadget lover!
