Product Review: Scrapbrats Scrapbooking Layout Recipes
I really enjoy scrapbooking. I think it is a new hobby, that creates a great memento for myself, or a perfect present for someone else. I started scrapbooking when I was stuck housebound, due to a recent hospital visit. I like that it is something I can do at my own pace, and I can be as elaborate or as simple, depending on my energy level. As excited as I am to work on most projects, there are days when I am just exhausted, and I don't even know where to start. I found this great product called "Layout Recipes," which are from Scrapbrats.com.
This is a great new company that makes scrapbooking easy for anyone! They have two options. You can join the Monthly Kit Club, where you will receive a shipment containing all the materials to assemble two pages, within a certain theme. They are 12x 12 layouts, which make it so easy. The step by step instructions are very simple to follow, and come with all the little embellishments, ribbons, brads, buttons etc, so you can't make a mistake.
Most of the pieces are even pre- cut for you and come with a color photograph of what the finished product should look like. I think this would be the perfect gift for a new scrap-booker or even a long time crafter. It is so exciting to get the new package in the mail, and since everything is in it- you can get started right away!
Scrapbrats.com also has single and specialty kits on their website. The specialty kits seem to be for the more advanced scrap-booker, and the single kits go by theme, or occasion. Both are great to get you started on that
perfect baby shower gift, or wedding present. The kits are also good for trying something new, if you are stuck in a rut of the same old looking scrapbooks.
