When I think of silk pillowcases, I think of movie stars or models on television. I have heard many stories about silk pillowcases being great for your hair, and for a relaxing night's sleep and so I was very excited to try one.
I had blown dried my hair straight the day I decided to use the pillowcase, and was skeptical if I would wake up the next morning with anything lessthen a knotted mess of hair. To my delight, I woke up with smooth straight
hair, just as I had gone to sleep with. The smooth surface of the silk pillowcase did not grab onto my hair and make a mess of it.
I also found it such a luxury and quite relaxing to lay my head upon one of these silk pillowcases. Although to some it may seem frivolous, I think little "gifts" to ourselves are important. We spend every night of our lives resting on a pillow, why not make it a more pleasurable experience? I have a hard enough time sleeping, and welcome any chance to make my nighttime routine a pleasant one.
This pillowcase comes with an organza pouch, so you can bring it with you while you are traveling. I can also picture this being the perfect gift to bring to someone who might be ill, instead of flowers. Flowers die so quickly and require the maintenance of watering etc. I am sure anyone would love this luxurious gift, one they can use every night!
