Product Review: Snuggley Heating Pads
I have tried many heating pads. I use them very often, not just in the typical winter months. I find that my feet are very cold at night- and I use them to heat up my bed and make me comfortable. I have tried every shape, every size and every fabric. So when I was asked to review yet another heating pad- I couldn't possibly think what would be different.
I was pleasantly surprised when my heating pad arrived. The heating pad worked very well when heated in the microwave (as they usually do). What made this heating pad different was the quality craftsmanship. There are 2 defining qualities on this heating pad that I will now forever hold others to this standard.
1. The heating pad "cover" is an extra step that sets this heating pad above others. Each heating pad is put inside a sleeve of material. You get your choice of a beautiful array of fabrics on the website. I loved this idea because I always hated not being able to wash the heating pad if it became dirty. Now with this sleeve, you can wash the sleeve separate from the pad. It has a Velcro seam so the corn bag inside will not fall out.
2. The heating pad is quilted so that the corn inside does not all fall to one side or the other. I always hated when I put a heating pad on my neck, or knee etc and the heating pad "insides" shifted all to one side. This is another extra step that is well worth it.
I would highly recommend these heating pads. The woman who makes them obviously takes the extra step to make these worth the purchase. I felt as though she read my mind on the improvements I wished to make to other heating pads I have tried. This has quickly become part of my nightly routine and is my favorite heating pad!
