Breastfeeding is an extremely intimate subject and to breast feed or not, is a very personal decision. This book is a wonderful gift for any mother who has chosen to breastfeed, but its strong wordage- "Breastfeeding is best for every baby." would be upsetting to the mother who, for her own reasons has chosen not to.

This book is also an excellent one to read to the young child ages 2 to 3, who is still or at one time was breastfed.
